COID (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases) is an insurance cover that compensates workers who have been injured at work or who have contracted a disease (schedule 3 of COID Act) at work. It provides for payout in the case of disablement caused by occupational injuries and diseases, sustained or contracted by employees in the course of their employment, or death resulting from such injuries and diseases.

  • Timeframe: 3 weeks (15 working days)

*Important Notes: Employers do not have to register for the Compensation Fund if they do not have employees. You must have an active bank account and employees on your payroll to register with COID as an Employer.
