To apply for government tenders, register your company on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). To register as a vendor on national, provincial, and local government databases, you’ll need a CSD Supplier Number.
What is Central Supplier Database (CSD)?
The Central Supplier Database keeps track of companies, institutions, and individuals who can provide goods and services to the government. Tender applicants must be registered on CSD in order to be considered for government contracts. When you register for CSD, the government verifies your email address, cell phone number, and banking information. Y our CIPC Company Registration Number and Tax Clearance will be checked automatically.
